Last days.

Kevin DeMaria shares images of the last days of Gourmet magazine. In the hyper kinetic social networking world we live in today the human story is lost. All that seems to be discussed about the faltering editorial world is the number of titles that are falling. Or, if anyone loses their marbles over the loss of their job.

The real story is the average person who got into an industry that five years ago had no signs of diminishing. Producing a magazine takes a lot of talented people. Mr. DeMaria’s images do a fantastic job of showing us the harsh reality of a dying genre and all the people that are displaced as a result.
